A crew, not a single model.

会规划、会用工具的模型，文笔往往一般；文笔最好的模型，又管不好一部长篇。所以鲸歌工坊不指望一个模型包办一切，而是组一个小班子，各干所长。

Models that plan and use tools well rarely write beautiful prose, and the best prose writers rarely manage a big project well. So Whalesong Studio doesn't ask one model to do everything — it puts together a small crew, each doing what it does best.

这些角色都是真正的 agent。每次干活，都会在对话里留下完整的记录：查了什么、交了什么、花了多少，一清二楚。不想聊天也没关系——所有功能在工坊的界面里都能直接点。

Every member of the crew is a real agent, and every job leaves a full record in your conversation: what it looked up, what it handed in, what it cost. Prefer buttons to chat? Everything can be done from the Studio's own screens, too.

每写完一章，工坊都会记下这一章发生了什么、每个人物此刻怎样、哪些伏笔有了进展。写下一章时，前情梗概和最近几章的原文都会交到写手手里，书不长的时候就是全文。所有修改都先给你看：改了哪里一目了然；采纳之后，原来的版本也一直留着。

After every chapter, the Studio notes what happened, where each character stands and which threads moved. When the next chapter is written, the writer gets a summary of everything before plus the last few chapters in full — the whole book, while it's short enough. Every change is shown to you first, side by side; accept it, and the old version is still kept.

每个人物有一张卡：性格、关系、在书里经历了什么，还有长相和声音——之后的每一张画、每一句配音都照着它来。翻到人物页，大幅画像旁边就是他的小传。

Each character has a card — personality, relationships, what they go through in the book, how they look and sound — and every later picture and every spoken line follows it. Their page shows a large portrait beside their story.

书里的地方一层套一层：贾府里有大观园，大观园里有潇湘馆、怡红院。有画的地方会展开成一幅场景，园中各处、住在里面的人都标在画上，点一下就进去；拖动时间轴，还能看它在某一回时的样子。

Places nest inside one another — Wonderland holds the hall of doors, the wood, the garden and the March Hare's house. Open one to see its picture, what it contains and who lives there; drag the timeline to see it as it was at any chapter.

每个人物先画一张正面、侧面、背面的设定图，之后每次画这个人都以它为准，所以前后长得一样。下面这些都出自上面两本书，用的是 GPT Image；你也可以换成任何喜欢的绘图模型——Qwen-Image、FLUX、Seedream……或者在自己电脑上跑的本地模型。点开看大图。

Each character first gets a design sheet — front, side and back — and every later picture of them is drawn to match, so they always look like themselves. These come from the two books above and were drawn with GPT Image; you can use any image model you like instead — Qwen-Image, FLUX, Seedream… or a model running on your own computer. 需要 DeepSeek Harness 0.2.0-rc.2 或更新的 0.2 版本。第一次打开时，选一家服务、贴一个 API key，画图、配音、检索就全都配好了；写作用的文字模型，就是你在 DeepSeek Harness 里已经在用的。有 ChatGPT 订阅的话，画图连 key 都不用。

Requires DeepSeek Harness 0.2.0-rc.2 or a later 0.2 release. The first time you open it, pick a service and paste one API key — pictures, voices and search are all set up at once; the writing uses whatever text model you already have in DeepSeek Harness. With a ChatGPT subscription, pictures need no key at all.
